Special Tomato Return Policy 

In order to process your return as efficiently as possible, please follow the instructions below carefully. Failure to follow these instructions may result in a delay in processing your return, or have the credit denied.

  • Special Tomato products may be returned to Bergeron Health Care only with advance authorization from Special Tomato Customer Service in the form of a Return Authorization (RA) number.
  • All requests for Return Authorization must be phoned to: 1-866-429-8407 and select option #3 for returns. Please include: 
    • Reason for return
    • Item number and quantity
    • Invoice number, original sales order number or original purchase order number, and date of product receipt.
    • Serial number(s) if applicable
  • RA requests MUST be made within 45 days of delivery of your order.
  • Delivery of order: This is the date of the proof of delivery from shipper.
  • The RA number must appear on the outside of the package in a clear legible fashion.
  • All approved returns must be shipped at customers’ expense using their preferred carrier. Product returns which are not prepaid will not be accepted by Bergeron Health Care.
  • Product must be returned in re-saleable condition and must be properly packaged (original packaging preferred).
  • TOILETING PRODUCTS ARE NOT RETURNABLE:
    • Portable Potty Seat
  • RAs are valid for 90 days and will not be accepted by Bergeron Health Care if the item(s) is not returned within 90 days after a Return Authorization is issued. Restocking fees listed below will apply.

Restocking Fees:

  • Product returns for warranty items (i.e., product defects) are subject to Bergeron Health Care evaluation and may not be subject to a restocking fee.
  • Restocking fee percentages are calculated based on the invoiced value of the product.
  • Product returns for non-warranty items (i.e., dealer error, overstock) are subject to Bergeron Health Care evaluation and are subject to a restocking fee based on the following schedule:

RETURN WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM DELIVERY DATE:

  • No restocking fee if returned in like-new, resalable condition, (original packaging preferred).
  • If product is not in like-new, resalable condition upon inspection, amount of credit given will be determined by Bergeron Health Care.

RETURN WITHIN 31-60 DAYS FROM DELIVERY DATE:

  • 25% restocking fee if returned in like-new, resalable condition, (original packaging preferred).
  • If product is not in like-new, resalable condition upon inspection, amount of credit given will be determined by Bergeron Health Care.

RETURN WITHIN 61-90 DAYS FROM DELIVERY DATE:

  • 50% restocking fee if returned in like-new, resalable condition, (original packaging preferred).
  • If product is not in like-new, resalable condition upon inspection, amount of credit given will be determined by Bergeron Health Care

RETURN AFTER 90 DAYS FROM DELIVERY DATE:

  • No credit will be issued.
