Special Tomato has teamed up with Convaid to develop the umbrella style stroller that offers perfect positioning for your child. This Push Chair from Special Tomato combines the MPS Seat with Footrest and the Convaid Transportable Push Chair Base. One push chair base accommodates both the Small and Large size MPS Seat, allowing your child to grow into the system. The MPS Push Chair is designed for use with standard tie-down systems for bus or van transport. Safety features meet ANSI/RESNA WC/19 regulations allowing your child a safe and comfortable ride to and from school. The Special Tomato MPS Push Chair Kit is a soft, lightweight and durable seating surface with cushions that allow for customized support. The cushions move up and down on a hook and loop track allowing for growth of your child. The cushions are made from a latex free material that is peel and tear resistant and impermeable to fluids. The cushions are supported by an outer shell that maintains position. Included with the Special Tomato MPS Push Chair Kit is Hip-Flex® adjustment that provides 30 degrees of pivot. Perfect positioning for your child to begin a perfect day at school.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a 10-year Expiration Date for the MPS Car Seat and the MPS Push Chair Kits for use during transportation! The MPS Seat itself can be used beyond 10 years with the Wooden Mobile Base or attached to a standard chair for more than 10 years!

Please Note: The Special Tomato Multi-Positioning Seat is now designed for use as a standalone car seat. As of October 1, 2003, Small MPS systems will be shipped as car seats. As of December 1, 2003, all Large MPS systems will also be shipped as car seats.

Please Note: The Special Tomato MPS is not available for use as a Restraint System for a Person with a Disability in a motor vehicle in Canada

The Special Tomato MPS has been successfully tested and Approved for aircraft travel (FAA approved). This includes all systems ordered April 1, 2006 and later.
